The True Price of AI comes to Torino

TruePriceOfAI.org and the SUX Network together with our friends from Sloweb present this very special event for you. With this we bring not only "The true Price of AI" but als the SUX Network to Italy. And we invite you to join us for this evnt to speak about the true price of AI.

And it is a very special occasion. In September the Terra Madre Salone del Gusto takes place in Torino and the Sloweb movement brings the digital perspective to the event with the idea to bring togehter slow food and slow web. As part of the program we do the first SUX Italia event in the evening of September 25 in the wonderful Cinema Centrale in the center of Torino.

Why do we need to talk about AI?

Everybody is talking about AI. Some people tell us about all the great opportunities. Others fear losing their job if they do not learn and adapt to AI. Every other day, you can read the next story about efficiency gains or the next great feature in the next great model, or how cheap and fast things can be done with AI.

But what is the true price for that? And what do we really get for this price?

We believe we need a more honest conversation about the impact of AI, what AI can really achieve in the state it is now, and what the true price must be, where and by whom.

We created this event with a short impulse talks on the different aspects of the true price of AI and a micro-workshop with our new tool the "Responsible AI Canvas" and emough room for open discussion and conversation about the true price of AI.

So join us for an event with an honest conversation about AI. It is not about declining it, but about looking open- and honestly at the true price of AI, at what we really get for this price, and at what we can do about it.
